Plant: 14in (35.6cm) diameter; 12in (30.5cm) high; mound-like; moderate growth rate

Leaf: 4.5in (11.4cm) long; 2in (5.1cm) wide; 4 to 5 vein pairs; yellow flat margins; slightly shiny on top; very shiny underneath; ovate with tapered base; lightly cupped and wavy overall.

Scape: 9 to 20in (22.9 to 50.8cm) high; dark red

Flower: 1.4in (3.6cm) long; pale purple, purple stripes on lavender petals have white between petals and translucent margins; tubular; Chagrin Falls, OH; 7/17 - 7/22 - 7/30

Notable Characteristics: Small bright shiny yellow plant with very purple buds on dark purple scapes.  Variable blooming period as early as July 1, can have a second bloom in late August.
